HAPPY, TX - Ceta Canyon Camp & Retreat Center has taken seriously their responsibility to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 by closing the camp through the end of July.

A beloved facility for young and old throughout the South and High Plains of Texas, Ceta Canyon Camp hosts activities through the National Christian Camp & Conference Association, the National United Methodist Camp & Retreat Ministries, the North West Texas (NWTX) United Methodist Church (UMC) Conference Leadership as well as numerous organizations from the Lubbock area to the northern borders of Texas.

In an open letter from Executive Director Mike Wentz and the Ceta Canyon Board of Trustees, Wentz explains the "prayerfully" and "diligently done" research that led to the difficult decision.

In the end, Wentz stated, "The health and well-being of anyone involved at Ceta Canyon is of utmost importance!"Some of the Retreat Groups and Summer Camps are looking at rescheduling after July--possibly utilizing a weekend mini-camp program.
