FLOYDADA, TX – One person is recovering today following a head-on collision on U.S. 70 Sunday morning.
The accident occurred around 7:55 a.m. at the “Y” when a pickup driving eastbound in the wrong lane collided with a westbound car.
Firefighters used the jaws of life to extricate the driver of the car, who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Floydada Fire Department, EMS, Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, TXDOT, and the City of Floydada were all on the scene to assist.
