POST, TX – On Friday, March 7, Floydada High School students traveled to Post, Texas to perform in the One Act Play District UIL event.
This year, they received authorization from UIL to produce a non-published original comedy from writer/collaborator K.M. Altman, “The Untold Story of the Sword and the Stone”. As this was this play’s first ever performance/debut, this cast of persevering teenagers will heretofore be known as the “Original Cast” of this show. Juan Robledo served as Stage Manager, and the show was directed by Eason Campbell (Sponsor).
Several students took home honors in overall District 4-2A:
David Guerra won Best Actor
Ava Gonzales and Cheyenne Sawyer won All-Star Cast
Jackson Graham earned All-Star Cast Honorable Mention
