FLOYDADA, TX—Floyd County Commissioners are meeting this morning for a Public Hearing on establishing the Wolf Spring Solar Reinvestment Zone.
The zone’s boundary would be the southeast corner of the county. The Court will also discuss the possibility of a Tax Abatement Agreement with Wolf Spring Solar, LLC, under Chapter 312 of the Texas Tax Code.
Also on the agenda for the 8:00 am meeting is a presentation by Nicole Adams, Caprock Community Literacy, discussion and possible action on approving the Floyd County Historical Commission, a contract with the Lockney ISD to hold their elections, block all commercial video streaming services (Netflix, HULU, FUBO, Peacock, etc.) to reduce usage of bandwidth, a Road Crossing Permit in Precinct 3, and the purchase and installation of a radio for the EMC (Emergency Management Coordinator).
