
FLOYDADA, TX – In a commanding performance the Floydada Lady Winds softball team secured a decisive 19-4 victory over the Lubbock-Cooper Liberty Lady Patriots at their home field in Floydada.
The Lady Winds got ahead early at the end of the first quarter 6-1.
Continued pressure through the 2nd and 3rd inning, allowed the Lady Winds to extend their lead 13-3.
Floydada would close the game out in the fourth inning, giving them the 19-4 victory over the Lady Patriots.
The Lady Winds move to 15-4 overall in the season and will look ahead to their next game against Levelland on Tuesday.
