Lockney Longhorns All-District Selected
LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns and Ladyhorns basketball teams have had an exceptional season, and several players have earned recognition for their outstanding performances both on the court and in the classroom.
The following athletes were honored with All-District and Academic All-District awards for their hard work and dedication throughout the 2025 basketball season.
Lockney Longhorns:
Senior Haygen Lefevre earned 1st Team All-District and Academic All-District honors for his impressive play and academic achievements.
Junior Daniel Alvarado was named to the 2nd Team All-District.
Sophomore Bo Alvis made the All-Defensive Team for his outstanding defensive skills.
Junior Juliua Rosales was recognized for his excellence in the classroom with an Academic All-District award.
Junior Aatrayu Leal received an Honorable Mention for his contributions to the team.
Freshman Josiah Rosales earned both Honorable Mention and Academic All-District honors.
Freshman Logan Rodriguez also received an Honorable Mention for his efforts on the court.
Lockney Ladyhorns:
Senior Brinley Lefevre was named to the 1st Team All-District and also earned Academic All-District honors for her outstanding performance in both sports and academics.
Senior Monique Lara was recognized for her defensive skills with a spot on the All-Defensive Team.
Senior Krista Azua earned an Honorable Mention and Academic All-District honors for her efforts this season.
Senior Miannette Rubio received Academic All-District recognition for her academic excellence.
Freshman Teagan Rogers earned Academic All-District honors for her performance in the classroom.
Junior Abery Everett received an Honorable Mention for her contributions to the team.
These athletes have shown great dedication to their teams and have balanced their athletic commitments with academic excellence. Their hard work has been recognized by their peers and coaches, and they have set a high standard for future seasons. Congratulations to all of these players on a successful 2025 basketball season!
