ABERNATHY, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds traveled to Abernathy on Tuesday to battle in their final district game.
The Lady Lopes jumped out to an early 21-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Continued pressure from Abernathy helped extend their lead 41-15 going into halftime.
The Lady Winds looked to fight back in the second half, but would fall to the Lady Lopes 78-32.
Soriah Wickware led the Lady Winds in scoring with 7 points and 12 rebounds.
