LOCKNEY, TX – A new month at Lockney Elementary School means it’s time to celebrate our December Little Longhorns!

These outstanding students have been selected for their exceptional qualities, as they embody the core values that all Longhorns should strive for. We are so proud of their achievements and the positive examples they set for their peers.

Our Little Longhorns exemplify the true spirit of what it means to be a Longhorn:

H – Honest – They demonstrate integrity in all their actions, always staying true to themselves and others.
O – Obedient – They follow directions and show respect for authority, contributing to a positive school environment.
R – Respectful – They treat others with kindness and consideration, building a strong sense of community.
N – Never give up – They approach challenges with determination, resilience, and a “can-do” attitude, no matter the obstacles.
S – Successful – Whether academically or personally, they put in the effort needed to achieve their goals and celebrate progress along the way.

In addition to showcasing these core values, our December Little Longhorns also stand out for their excellent attendance, their dedication to academic excellence and growth, and their positive attitudes that inspire everyone around them.

We are excited to honor and congratulate the following students, who continue to make us proud with their hard work and commitment to being the best versions of themselves!
