FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds hosted the Ralls Jackrabbits in a district battle on Tuesday.
The Whirlwinds were able to take control of the game early on and set the tone for the game in the first quarter, outsourcing Ralls 25-11.
Floydada scored a game-high 34 points in the second quarter to extend their halftime lead 49-29.
The Whirlwinds would close out the decisive victory 94-54 over the Jackrabbits.
Floydada was led in scoring by Sergio Valadez with 28 points (5 3-pointers made).
Also contributing to the scoring was Braun Hobbs (26 points & 11 rebounds), Ty Henderson (18 points & 10 rebounds), Yager James (10 points & 5 rebounds)
