FLOYDADA, TX—Volunteer firefighters responded to seven calls during December, only three of which involved an actual fire.
Three other monthly calls were to assist in vehicle accidents, including two in one day.
The Floydada Fire Department is staffed by community volunteers under Chief Chad Guthrie. They are looking for new volunteers in the area. For more information, contact the FVFD via email at floydadafire@myreachmail.com.
