POST, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds made the trip to battle the Post Lady Antelopes in a district matchup on Tuesday.
The Lady Winds took a 13-4 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Lady Winds senior Soriah Wickware recorded a double-double in the second quarter helping extend the lead 34-14 going into halftime.
It was a complete team effort throughout the game as Floydada would secure the victory 63-25.
Wickware had a game-high in both points and rebounds with 24 points and 18 rebounds.
Also contributing to the win on Tuesday was sophomore Madison Pyle (6 pts & 4 reb), senior Callie Brittain (6 pts & 8 reb), and senior Brittany Falcon (7 points).
Floydada improves to 2-0 in district play and 10-5 overall.
