FLOYDADA, TX – Members of the community made their way to the square in downtown Floydada on Thursday night to welcome home the Wells family.

After some difficult news earlier this week, the community wanted to gather to show their support for not only Hunter but his entire family as well.

The Floydada Volunteer Fire Department raised the flags alongside Lighthouse Electric service vehicles to help welcome home Hunter, an eight-year-old who is currently fighting his hardest against leukemia.

Social Fly TX and Whirlwind Nutrition are organizing a silent auction to help support the Wells family, with all funds raised going directly to them to help with any expenses.

Donations can be dropped off beginning today and will continue until Tuesday, October 29.
