FLOYDADA, TX—The Floydada Volunteer Fire Department reported seven runs during the month of September, including three vehicle accidents.

One house fire was reported during the month, and a dumpster fire was handled.

Despite the very dry conditions and a county-wide burn ban, volunteers only dealt with one small grass fire outside of the Floydada city limits.
