LOCKNEY, TX—In June, W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital hit a “high-water mark” with physical therapy patients.
According to Vince DiFranco, Mangold’s CEO, the 309 visits claimed a new fiscal year high for outpatients.
Other highlights he shared during a recent Lockney General Hospital District board meeting included a clinic volume of 666 visits in June, five acute admissions for 13 patient days, and 14 receiving observation. There were also 164 visits to the Emergency Room, five procedures performed, and 15 outpatient specialty infusions.
The lab performed more than 2,700 tests, and the radiology volume for the month was 235, including 56 CT scans.
Fiscally, total gross revenue was $1.829 million below budget ($1.218 million), but overall expenses were $925,124 below budget. After more than $600,000 in adjustments, the District experienced a net loss of $155,436 for the month.
