FLOYD COUNTY, TX – The 94th Annual Memorial Days Celebration took place this Saturday in Floydada for the members of Floyd County, with several members of the community being recognized as “Pioneers of the Year”.
The Pioneer Woman of the Year was awarded to Jackie Lou Holt.
The Pioneer Man of the Year was awarded to Phillip D. Smitherman.
The Pioneer Couple of the Year was awarded to Rick and Kathy Kellison.
The incoming officers were also announced on Saturday.
