FLOYDADA, TX – Saturday marked the 32nd anniversary of the U.S. Postal Service’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Floydada Postmaster Esmeralda Aguirre was excited about the donations, which will stay locally. “I would like to thank my carriers who also donated and brought food from their homes,” she added.
Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America collect donations in the largest one-day food drive in the nation.
