Lockney Longhorns Baseball
LUBBOCK, TX – The Lockney Longhorns were in postseason action against the New Home Leopards on Thursday in the 2A Bi-district round of the playoffs.
In game one, the Leopards would score first in the bottom of the first inning, going up 6-0.
New Home’s offense would continue in the next three innings and secure game one, 12-1.
In game two, the Leopards took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
The Longhorns defense held New Home scoreless in the second and third inning, however the Leopards would score five runs in the top of the fourth, and seven in the top of the fifth to secure the game 15-1 over Lockney.
New Home claims the Bi-district championship and will advance in the playoffs.
