FLOYDADA, TX – An upper-level disturbance was moving across the South Plains Tuesday, bringing high winds, rain, hail, and lightning.
One bolt of lightning found its way to a power line pole owned by XCEL Energy in the 600 block of South Third Street.
Volunteers from the Floydada Fire Department were on the scene, though residents in the area reported no injuries and no damage.
