FLOYDADA, TX – The community of Floydada looks to remember Walter Holt, a member of the community, who sadly passed away in January with a memorial bench and is asking for donations in honor of Walter.
The Floydada Chamber of Commerce, along with the Serrato Sisters and the City of Floydada, has a goal of $2,000 to complete the installation of the memorial.
The memorial bench will be placed at the city park next to the pool.
Donations can be made by visiting Payne’s Pharmacy, Assiter’s Insurance, Whirlwind Nutrition, or by venmo (@floydada-chamber).
A dedication will be scheduled once the funds have been raised.
