LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns were at home on Friday, as they were up against the Hale Center Lady Owls.
The Lady Owls went ahead in the first quarter, 26-12.
The Lady Horns were shut out in the second quarter and trailed 38–12 going into halftime.
Lockney tried to fight back in the second half but was unable to, and they were defeated 79-33.
The Lady Horns were led in scoring by Brinley Lefevre, who had 8 points.
Abery Asencio had 7 points, and Nadia Perez contributed 5 points in the game on Friday.
Lockney moves to 1-6 in the district and will host Sudan on Tuesday.
