LITTLEFIELD, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds made the trip to Littlefield to face the Lady Wildcats in a non-district game.
The Lady Winds were able to jump out in the first half to take a 29-22 lead going into halftime.
Floydada was able to continue their momentum after returning from halftime and extended their lead to 42-34 at the end of the third quarter.
The Lady Winds were able to secure the victory over Littlefield in the fourth quarter, 57-46, to move to 8-1 overall.
Floydada was led in scoring by senior Zay Santos, who had 18 points and 7 rebounds.
Also contributing to the win on Tuesday was junior Soriah Wickware, who recorded 12 points and 17 rebounds.
