ACUFF, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds have been in action at the Lubbock Roosevelt Invitational and will continue their run in the tournament.
The Whirlwinds defeated the Tulia Hornets 66-62 in their first game.
Floydada were defeated 74-48 by Littlefield in their final game of day one.
In their next matchup against the Bovina Mustangs, the Whirlwinds were victorious 80-34.
Floydada is back in action today at 4:30 as they look to make a run for the championship game.
