FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were in action on Monday as they hosted the Lubbock Liberty Lady Patriots in a non-district game.
Floydada would jump out to an early 12-4 lead after the first quarter.
The Lady Winds were able to extend their lead in the second quarter and went into halftime up 26-12.
Floydada’s Soriah Wickware contributed 6 of her 11 points in the third quarter as the Lady Winds continued to lead the game at the end of the third quarter, 34-26.
The Lady Winds would secure the game in the fourth quarter and were victorious over the Lady Patriots 46-38.
Floydada moved to 3-0 in the season, and they were led in scoring by Zay Santos, who had 14 points in the victory on Monday.
The Lady Winds will host Idalou today at 3:15 in a non-district game.
Floydada Lady Winds JV will tip off at 2:00 against Idalou.
