FLOYDADA, TX – Twenty-two years ago, the United States suffered the deadliest act of terrorism in world history, simply known as 9/11. The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) lost 343 firefighters, including a chaplain and two paramedics.

Their heroism will be remembered on Monday evening at a one-mile walk at the old Floydada track – across the highway from Ace Hardware.

The walk will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is open to all. The first 200 participants will receive a free hot dog courtesy of the Floydada Volunteer Fire Department.
