Wesley Lynn Shaw (Lockney)
Wesley Lynn Shaw, 68, of Lockney, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Bethel Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from 6-8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.
Wesley Lynn Shaw was born on February 23, 1955, to Naomi Howard Shaw and “Bob” Lewis Earl Shaw in Olton, Texas. He attended and graduated from Kress High School. He loved art, building things, playing racquetball, riding and fixing his cars and motorcycles, and hunting, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a part of the Gregg School Auctioneer Winter Session.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noami Howard Shaw & “Bob” Lewis Earl Shaw, and his brother-in-law, Drexel Tipton.
Mr. Shaw is survived by his daughter, Whitney Lasha Shaw Behen & husband, Jefferey Leo Behen, Jr. of Midland, Texas; his son, Raven Wesley Shaw & wife Clarissa Dawn Hale of Midland, Texas; his grandchildren, Hunter Lee Shaw and Edward Wesley Shaw of Lubbock, Texas; his niece April Hall & husband Christopher Hall of Plainview, Texas; his nephew, Lee Tipton of Plainview, Texas; his great-niece, Avery Dawn Hall of Plainview, Texas; his great-nephew, Luke Owen Hall of Plainview, Texas; his sister, Geneva Tipton of Plainview, Texas and many cousins.
