FLOYDADA, TX – As Floydada Collegiate ISD prepares for a new school year, here are a few pieces of information before students return.
Any schedule changes that students (grades 6–12) wish to have must be done between August 8th and August 11th, with no changes to be made after the deadline.
Contact Pam Ricketts at the high school for any changes that need to be made.
Junior high and high school students will have pictures taken and laptop rollouts on Thursday, August 10. (Students must take their school picture before collecting their laptop.)
Listed below is the schedule for students to take a picture and then pick up their laptop:
9:00 AM–10:30 AM Seniors
10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. Juniors
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Sophomores
1:00PM–2:00PM Freshman
2:00 PM–3:00 PM, 8th Grade
3:00 PM–4:00 PM, 7th Grade
4:00 PM–5:00 PM, 6th Grade
FCISD is holding “Meet the Teacher” on August 10th for the elementary students at A.B. Duncan from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
The first day of classes for FCISD will be Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
