FLOYDADA, TX – Local residents have expressed frustration with the city’s lack of consistent trash service.
Elected representatives will discuss and possibly take action on the problem at tonight’s monthly City Council meeting.
The city contracts trash pickup and dumpster maintenance with South Plains Waste Service in Olton.
In addition, council members will discuss the Floydada Animal Shelter, receive an electrical update, and consider police department salaries.
The meeting begins at 6:30 pm at the Council Chambers at 114 West Virginia Street in Floydada.
