FLOYDADA, TX – Following a request for assistance, a new produce stand/Mexican imports shop will open in the 300 block of South Main.

Sally & Ramiro Coss with R&S Trucking own the new business and will open soon at the old Oden Chevrolet Used Car Lot after being approved for an incentive by the Floydada Economic Development Corporation last Thursday.

The EDC Board of Directors also discussed the future of the Floydada Development Center, but no action was taken.

Finally, the board received the monthly Executive Director’s report and conducted a performance review of Ryan Crowe, who has been in the position for six months.

The next scheduled meeting will be July 13, 2023.
