Lajuana Stephenson (Fort Worth)
Lajuana Irwin Stephenson of Fort Worth, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and family on April 18, 2023. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2023, at the Floydada Cemetery.
She was born June 10, 1949, to parents Shirley and Bobbye (Waller) Irwin. She grew up on the family farm in the Fairview Community in Floyd County. She graduated in 1969 from Floydada High School and left for college, where she pursued a career in business management. She retired as head of office management from Bass Industries in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2012 after 30 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harvey Irwin; her grandparents, Felix and Lottie Irwin; Georga and Reed Waller; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by one sister, Loretta (Lori) Mize; a niece, Alessa Mize, and a nephew, Clint (Destiny) and her great-niece, Kimber Mize; one uncle, Herbert (Sue) Irwin; and three aunts, Luella Slack, Jane Irwin, and Audeen Irwin.
