FLOYDADA, TX – The #13-ranked Floydada Lady Winds hosted the Sundown Roughettes on Saturday in a district game.
The Lady Winds would take an early lead, 6-5, after three innings.
Floydada would score five runs in the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings to take a 16-8 lead going into the seventh inning.
The Roughettes tried to rally in the top of the seventh inning; however, the Lady Winds would secure the victory 16-10.
The Lady Winds win their eighth game in a row and remain perfect in district play, moving to 6-0.
