PLAINVIEW, TX – The #12 ranked Floydada Whirlwinds (31-5, 13-1) will play against the #13 Olton Mustangs (24-5, 13-1) in a playoff seeding game on Friday.
The two teams were named co-district winners; however, with a 1-1 split in the regular season, the two teams will play to determine the #1 and #2 seeds for the playoffs.
The Mustangs were victorious, 72-68, in the first meeting.
Floydada got revenge at home in their second meeting, defeating Olton 77-71.
The game is held at Wayland Baptist University and will tip off at 8 p.m.
