RALLS, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns (16-7, 3-2) made the trip to play the Ralls Lady Rabbits (5-10, 0-4) in a district matchup on Friday night.
The Lady Horns were able to take control of the game early as their defense held the Lady Rabbits to only single digits in the first half and went into the locker room with a 23-12 lead.
Lockney was able to maintain that lead for the third quarter as well, as they had the lead 33-21 after three quarters.
The Lady Rabbits would make a late run in the fourth quarter and score a game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter, but the Lady Horns were able to hold them off and win the game 46-42.
Senior Adriana Villarreal led the Lady Horns in scoring with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals in the victory on Friday night.
