TURKEY. TX – On Tuesday, the Lady Winds will participate in their final scrimmage on their schedule against the Valley Lady Patriots.
The JV will begin play at 5:00 pm, with the varsity girls to follow after.
Last season, Valley made it to the regional finals of the state tournament, and with a few returning players, it will be a good test for the Lady Winds as they prepare for their regular season.
The Lady Winds were co-district champs last year (19-5,6-2), and are hoping to build off of last year and use the experience that they have to generate a great season.
Floydada will have their first regular season game on November 5 in Sundown.
