FLOYDADA, TX – Sundown scored a hat-trick on Thursday as all three teams were victorious against Floydada.
The 7th-grade Whirlwinds managed to get points on the board but were bested by the Roughnecks, 38-12.
The 8th-grade squad found Sundown a well-equipped opponent, resulting in a 40-6 defeat.
The Whirlwind JV made the trip to Sundown but was shut out by the Sundown 50-0.
Next week, New Deal will host the Floydada Junior High teams, while the Whirlwind JV team will play the Lions at Charles Tyer Stadium on Thursday.
