CROSBYTON, TX – If past performance indicates future expectations, the Lockney Longhorns can be optimistic about their chances of starting District 3-2A (D2) play unbeaten Friday night.
In the district opener for both teams, the Longhorns (1-4) have defeated Crosbyton (1-4) the past three years by an average of 40-8 and haven’t lost to the Chieftains since a six-point defeat in 2018.
Even the Harris Ratings System is projecting a Lockney victory (by 11 points).
