Oseas Torres (Lockney)
Oseas Torres, age 88, of Lockney, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney, with pastor Salvador Bernal officiating. Interment will follow at the Lockney Cemetery. A Visitation will be open until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2022, in the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Lockney. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.
Oseas Torres was born on September 1, 1934, in Runge, Texas. Olivia and Oseas were married on September 8, 1963, and raised six children. He was a hard worker and devoted father and husband all his life. He enjoyed working outside and being with his family.
He is preceded in death by his son; Oseas Torres Jr., and daughter; Shirley Ruelas.
His children survive him; Orfa Gutierrez, Steve Torres, John Torres, and Victoria De La Cerda, 11 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
