Jerry Lynn Griffith (Lubbock)
Jerry Griffith, 82, of Lubbock passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022. He was born December 15, 1939, in Lockney, TX to Johnny and Collie Mae Griffith. Jerry attended Lockney schools. He married Donna Mae Smith on February 9, 1962. Jerry went on to serve his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. He was of the Baptist faith. Jerry owned and operated D&J Office Coffee for many years. He always worked hard and played hard, and he will be truly missed.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Donna Griffith; son, Jeff Griffith and wife Amy; daughter, Sherri Griffith; granddaughter, Chelsie McElwee; grandson, Justin Griffith, and partner Juliee; and great-grandchildren, Chellie, Olive, and Aspynn.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Collie Griffith; daughter, Sherry D’Lynn Griffith; brother, Bill Griffith; and sister, Mary Williams.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, TX.
