
Lockney Longhorns Baseball
OLTON – The Lockney Longhorns wasted no time by scoring in every inning to take a 19-5 win over the Olton Mustangs on Tuesday.
The Longhorns (11-6, 4-3) had a 14-0 lead in the third inning before Olton had its biggest at bat of scoring three runs.
Dyllan Thiebaud got the win by pitching the complete game of five innings. Thiebaud gave up five runs on five hits and recorded 10-strikeouts. His record is now 6-2.
Lockney’s bats had 12-hits including five doubles by Nathan Cineceros, Pablo Morales, Xavier Jimenez, Martin Salas and Thiebaud. Jimenez had a game high three RBI, while Morales and Rodriguez scored three runs each.
Lockney will host Olton in Game 2 on Saturday at Longhorn Field.
