FLOYDADA – Partnering with Golden Spread Electric Cooperative’s Community Involvement Committee, the customer-owned Lighthouse Electric Cooperative presented firefighters from Floydada’s volunteer fire department with a check earlier this week.
Lighthouse General Manager Albert Daniel presented the check amounting to $450 to fire chief Chad Guthrie and treasurer Rusty Hopper on Monday at Lighthouse’s Floydada office.
Lighthouse said the check was a way for the company to say thanks to Floydada’s firefighters for their work in keeping the community safe.
