FLOYDADA – As a Floydada couple continue to clean up after a fire destroyed their home, a local business is stepping in to help them out.
Catarino Ramirez and Magdelena Hernandez lost their home in the 300 block of West Kentucky Avenue on February 13th. The home was a total loss. Neither were seriously injured in the fire.

Now, Whirlwind Nutrition on South Main Street is hosting a silent auction for the pair, with multiple businesses donating items. According to a social media post by Whirlwind Nutrition, the auction will end Friday afternoon.
