LUBBOCK – Mason & The Gin Line have arguably been some of the hardest working artists on the South Plains over the past year and a half. From their debut single ‘Loose Tonight’ to their Caprock Composition EP and the follow-up single ‘Chances R’, the boys from Lubbock have run the gamut in honing their sound.
Now they’re back with ‘Portales’ about the town just across the New Mexico line. Mason sat down with us just hours before the official release on Wednesday to preview the song and to talk Neanderthals, Master’s Degrees and our semi-predictions for Texas Tech’s game against Chris Beard.
