LOCKNEY — After taking the festivities virtual in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lockney Chamber of Commerce is bringing their annual banquet back in full force next week.
The banquet takes place on Saturday, Jan. 15 in the Lockney Elementary cafeteria. The event begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $15 at the door.
Pete Christy, sports director at KCBD NewsChannel11, will be the featured guest speaker at the event. In addition, the chamber will be honoring the Lockney Citizens of the Year and Business of the Year .
Weekends Barbeque of Plainview is catering the banquet, with brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad and peach cobbler.
