POST — The Lockney Lady Horns (16-4) will take an eight game winning streak to the Christmas Holidays thanks to a come from behind win on the road Friday night by a 52-46 margin against the Post Lady Lopes at Antelope Gym. Lockney trailed by nine points at halftime (27-18) and at the end of the third quarter (43-34) before rallying 18-3 in the final stanza to take the win.
Adri Villarreal and Senayda Bernal led the Lady Horns in scoring with 15 and 11-points respectively. Bernal had a team high of three 3’s. Villarreal’s defense was also provided a spark by leading the team with six steals. Mariah Ascensio almost made the double-figures with nine points, plus she was the leading rebounder with seven, and shot blocker with six.
