FLOYDADA — Floydada Collegiate Independent School District Trustee-elect Randy Moore will be officially sworn in following a canvass of the votes when the board meets on Monday evening at 7 p.m.

Moore was elected in a special election on Nov. 2 to replace former board president Lyle Miller. The special election was called when the board could not come to a consensus on an appointment to fill Miller’s at-large seat.

The board will also recognize students and educators of the month, hold a public hearing during the meeting on the district’s financial integrity rating and will consider a number of items regarding decennial redistricting procedures.
