AMARILLO, TX — The Floydada Lady Winds are playoff bound and ready to make a statement as they face off against the Sunray Lady Cats in the 2025 2A Bi-District Championship.
This exciting first-round matchup kicks off Thursday, April 24 at 5:00 p.m. with Game One, where the Lady Winds will take the field as the visiting team on the first base side. The series continues Friday, April 25, with Game Two set for 4:00 p.m., where Floydada will switch roles and serve as the home team on the third base side. If necessary, Game Three will follow 30 minutes after Game Two.
All games will be hosted at Tascosa Rebel Softball Field, located at 3499 Rebel Rd, Amarillo, TX 79102. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students, and passes from THSCA and TGCA will be accepted.
The Lady Winds have worked hard all season and are eager to bring that same grit and determination into the playoffs. With a strong mix of veteran leadership and young talent, Floydada is focused on advancing in what promises to be a competitive and hard-fought series.
