FLOYDADA, TX – Floyd County Commissioners meet in regular session today.
A few of the agenda items include a Proclamation declaring April 2025 as Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month in Floyd County, a Resolution in support of State funding for Rural EMS, and the possibility of changing Credit Card companies for the District Clerk, County Clerk, JP 1&4, JP 2&3, and Tax Assessor-Collector.
In addition, Commissioners will consider a Resolution that the Precinct lines in Floyd County are in compliance with the Texas Election Code (Chapter 42.005, 42.006, and 42.007), approve a Coyote Bounty payment in Precinct #3 and issue a check, purchase a Motor Grader and a Backhoe for Precinct #3, and implement a county-wide Burn Ban.
