Lockney FFA Shines at Texas Major Stock Shows

Lockney FFA students have been busy representing their chapter with pride and determination at various Texas Major Stock Shows this season. Their hard work and dedication to agriculture and animal husbandry have not gone unnoticed, as several students earned notable placements and recognition in their respective categories.

Kaileigh Cook earned an impressive 3rd Place in the gilt division at the Texas Elite Stock Show, showcasing the results of her consistent efforts and commitment to excellence.

At the San Angelo Stock Show, Miannette Rubio had a standout performance, taking home Best in Breed with her Silverfox rabbit. Her achievement highlights the diverse range of talents and interests among Lockney FFA members.

Carter Duniven also brought home honors from San Angelo, placing 3rd in the gilt division, a testament to both his preparation and the quality of his livestock.

In addition to these award-winning performances, Brinley and Haygen Lefevre, Emma, Benjamin, and Samantha Nelson, and Brighton Reese also proudly represented Lockney FFA at Texas Majors, competing with skill and sportsmanship.

The Lockney FFA chapter is incredibly proud of all these students for their dedication, hard work, and the positive way they represent the program and their community. Their participation and achievements are a strong reflection of the values and spirit of Lockney FFA.
