FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were in district action on Tuesday against the Quanah Lady Indians.
The Lady Winds softball team, ranked ninth in Texas among Class 2A teams, delivered a commanding performance on Tuesday, securing a 19-0 victory over the Quanah Lady Indians.
The game concluded after three innings due to the run-rule.
Sophomore pitcher Madison Pyle achieved a perfect game, allowing no hits, runs, or walks over the three innings. Junior infielder Alli Hernandez led the offense with four RBIs, going 2-for-3 at the plate.
Floydada will look ahead to their matchup on Friday against the Lockney Lady Horns.
