FLOYDADA, TX—In a meeting that lasted just 15 minutes last week, the City Council approved the payment of transfers, fixed expenses, and city bills for February.
On a recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Committee, the Council approved Oscar Garza’s variance request at 305 E. Crockett Street and voted unanimously to begin the condemnation process on the property at 513 W. Grover Street.
During the Tuesday night meeting, Councilmembers voted unanimously to begin the condemnation process on the 513 W. Grover Street property and to increase the monthly firetruck charge from $5.00 to $5.75.
