
LEVELLAND, TX – The Floydada FFA team made an impressive showing at the Area AAR (Agricultural Advocacy and Research) Event held at South Plains College, placing second in district and eighth in the area.
The competition showcased the students’ dedication, knowledge, and teamwork as they competed against some of the top FFA teams in the region.
The team, consisting of Diego Martinez, Dustin Zavala, Yael Lara, and Jonathan Pena, demonstrated their expertise in agricultural advocacy and research, earning recognition for their hard work and preparation.
Their strong district placement secured them a spot at the area level, where they faced stiff competition from schools across the region.
FFA Advisor Cory Davis expressed pride in the team’s performance, stating, “These students put in countless hours of preparation, and their efforts truly paid off. Their success at both the district and area levels is a testament to their commitment to agricultural education and leadership.”
